BICO DA RAN
Grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks
There is plenty of Albariño typicity here, with citrus fruits, fennel and passion fruit on the nose. On the palate it is fruity but fresh, with good intensity and length.

FENTO
The vines are grown at the bottom the Rías Baixas appellation, on the banks of the river Minho, which forms a natural border between Spain and its neighbour Portugal. The wines from this area are a bit rounder and are a bit fuller bodied with more stone fruit character. The bright, crisp freshness they bring is however very typical of Rias Biaxas.
At Fento they farm as respectfully to nature as possible, they let vegetation grow underneath the traditionally Pergola trained vines. The highly talented winemaker, Eulogio Pomares, manages to truly transfer the terroir into the bottle and this is seen in the brilliant background of minerality in all these excellent and very well priced wines.
